Nobody lives here. Stayed 4 nights and saw ranger rounds three times. The road noise from 50 is about as bad as it gets, especially at night. Camping loop is small, ten spaces, but you have room to move around. Half are shaded, half sunny. Tables and fire pits. Clean bathrooms with flush toilets. A few short trails.

Overall this one is very small for a state park. There’s a little beach area to walk to on the river. Not much else to do and very light traffic from non-campers. But the cell data service is great and it’s close to shopping needs.

I wouldn’t seek this place out but it works, and a half hour from Tahoe. If you’re a Nevada annual permit holder, it’s a decent spot to pinball the stay limits of other nearby parks.

It’s just a parking lot on the edge of a small town, but they were nice enough to post an RV Park sign instead of “No Overnight Camping”, No Trespassing, or “Stop and We Shoot” so that’s nice.

There’s a quaint park outside the museum with picnic tables and trash receptacles. Also a recycling bin around the corner. A few rigs could fit in the lot. Some road noise that dies down at night.

Had 3 bars LTE but data didn’t work well without a booster.

If you’re tired of driving it’s a decent stop for a nights rest.

Posted No Pets Allowed, subject to $100 fine. Three permanent signs on the road in.

Gets a star because it looks pretty though. Despite the 30’ limit, I wouldn’t tow a rig in here. Too tight. I was behind a guy towing nothing but a little storage box and even he was having trouble getting around. Perfect for tent camping.

No Verizon coverage at all once you enter camp.

I was alone on a weekday. A few boaters dropped in for a bit. It’s a small park near nothing. Good Verizon data service. The shelter is gone and the donation box was busted open on a table. Didn’t use electric but it was there. You’d have to mash a couple RVs in a tight space to hookup more than one. It’s a little awkward to park an RV with the random placement of pits and tables. About half the park is out in the sun, the other half is shaded. Bugs weren’t bad. Nice flowing dam on the lake.

This isn’t camping, this is a parking lot with grass in an inner city apartment complex. Noisy, pandemonium. The hiking trails are all overgrown and barely walkable because no one uses them. They just come here to party. I had to ask kids to stop jumping on the stairs of my trailer because the parents don’t care. I can’t use my fire pit because the sites are so close, I’d burn my neighbor’s tent if I lit a fire.

This campground is the closest thing to hell for a quiet nomad. Maybe you don’t care. Maybe this review saves you from making my mistake.

Mostly private wooded sites except the cul de sac nearest lake access. Bugs weren’t too bad at camp but were miserable on the hiking trails in this area. Lake is pretty. Verizon data was solid and fast, a surprise for Adirondacks.

There’s a Walmart and gas less than 15 minutes away.

I was the only camper on a fall weekend. There are ten sites in an open field. Near a lake for fishing. Some truck noise but not much traffic. Trash cans at each site, portapotties, picnic tables and fire pits.

Zero Verizon service. A creek running along half the sites. It’s about 30 minutes off the nearest highway. A few drive throughs from locals using the toilets but otherwise empty. There would be no privacy if it were busy, it’s an open field but very green and we’ll-maintained. Roads are paved all the way in. Any size rig can make it. A little leveling may be required, the sites are grass.

Your night is reigned over by the glowing neon of a McDonald’s and Shell sign, as well as bright hotel lights. There is a shed that buzzes loudly throughout the park located by the group camping and tent areas but can be heard everywhere, 24 hours a day. If you manage to tune that out, there’s still the neverending sound of 70 traffic.

The sites are not that spacious, in fact, I can’t help but suspect that all the positive reviews are plants.

Giving it two stars because the park is nice and the staff seem friendly, but I’d relegate this to a day use visit. if you’re seeking some solace and quiet in the outdoors, you will absolutely find it...when you get home.

There’s a whole cow carcass, and a big pile of household construction debris to play in. And it’s all just here, free!

Great setting, lots of space, good vz data, shade or sun as required. Mild highway noise, OHVs prohibited, 10 day limit, trash service and toilets.

Coords lead you all the way around to a peninsula that could fit several groups but there are camps all over the lake, so once you take the exit, start looking. Not crowded in early Fall weekdays. Maybe 5 others we’ll spread.
