this place was closed. looked like it would have been a nice spot to camp
We loved the cavern. The only word of advise is be waiting in line by 7am or earlier or you will not get a ticket for that day. We arrived at 7:30am because it opened at 8. A lady with a counter walked through about 8:30 and said when I get to 1,000 people that is all the tickets for the day. By the we got to the window to purchase tickets at 9am our entrance time was 1pm. At 10am they announce over the speaker all ticket for today have been sold! Word to the wise, get there early.
This place is worth the $5 to get in. It is an easy walk to the viewing area of the falls and there not not many steps to get down to the falls. As a side note for anyone looking to camp, There is BLM spots just before the entrance of Sitting Bull.
