We came to see the Sandhill Crane migration and were surprised by how nice the campground is. The sites around us were large with very large trees. There is also a good size sand beach for swimming. This would be a good place for family camping. The short hike to the converted railroad bridge over the Platte River is perfect to watch sunrise or sunset.
The park is an easy 8 miles off I-80.

We have been spending a few nights in the Minnesota White Water State Park the first week in July. It is a smaller park with a lot of very well-maintained campsites. The Park has a swimming area with a nice beach that the kids from the campground enjoy. The sites numbered 200 and above are in a new camping section and are surrounded by wild flowers and small walnut trees. The showers and restroom facilities are the nicest I’ve ever come across in a state park. The sites are level with plenty of room between them. For us this is a good place to park the rig while we explore the country side and get a few miles on the bikes.
No mosquitoes, but biting fly's when we were there.

The pictures shown above are an accurate presentation of the Resort. There is a lot of green space between sites and the owners have installed a sprinkler system to keep grass green. The internet provided has worked out well.

This was our first stay here. Was surprised at how nice the campground is. Large-level sites. The shower house is the best we have come across. If you are traveling close to Nebraska City this is the place to stay. Only 10 minutes from I-29.

We stayed a couple of nights here with friends. This would be a very good place to stay overnight if you are driving trough on I70. It is also a good place to stay and explore the St Louis region.
The place was regularly patrolled by security. Not sure why it appears to be in a safe area but the patrols were nice.

Most sites are pull-thru, but the water and electric are set up so that the pedestal is shared between sites. No big deal but I did not know until I pulled in and had to turn around. This setup design made for more space for the facing units. Good idea I think. Restrooms are clean. The check-in was fast.
The interstate is close so there is road noise but not too bad.

This is a very well-cared-for RV park. We stayed here on our way to the Bad Lands NP. Want a place that was a couple of hours from the Nomad dispersed camping area so we could arrive early to claim a spot. New Frontier was perfect. Clean restrooms, nice host, and there was green grass between the sites in July. Just a short run off I-90. Check-in was fast. No problems at all.

The sites are very close together. All gravel. The shower rooms were very good. The people were very nice.
I did not take any photos but the ones shared here do not look like the place we stayed at. The trees on our row were about 5 - 6 feet tall.

The campground has no services, and you should come with a full tank of fresh water and empty gray and black tanks. That aside, this place is wonderful. Clear night skies, great views, and quiet. Very close to Dead Horse Point, SP, and Canyonlands NP. Sites had a lot of space between them.
We checked out the campground a few days prior to needing a site, the host advised us to arrive around 9 - 10 o'clock AM and wait for a site to open. It worked out well, If you come in after lunch there probably will not be an open site.

Another well maintained state facility. Our campsite was in the eastern section. The spaces were large and had a lot of space and trees. Nice grass in common area for kid play. Just off the same I-90 exit is the Porter Sculpture Park. A very interesting place to visit.
