Our friends raved about the beach and said they had a good time at the camp site so we booked a spot without looking for more info. We pulled in and knew we’d only stay one of the two nights we booked. It’s a cramped, outdated campground showing its age.
Literally when we put the slide out, out it was nearly on top of our neighbors picnic table. The trailer/RV spots are awkwardly close together. We could hear the highway from our spot too which is was a major bummer to us.
Before going to bed we went for a drive on the beach, which is really close and drove down the highway a bit. We came across Grayland Beach State Park and fell in love. We booked a spot for the next night at Grayland and got out of Twin Harbors as early as we could the next morning.
