Meadowcliff is now the Walker/Coleville KOA. It is right on Hwy 395 so there is road noise. The entire facility--restrooms, showers, sites, and store are super-clean and well-kept. We were able to relax and enjoy a beautiful evening after a long day driving. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We'd like to go back and stay longer to explore the area.
Relaxing stay in site 17, listening to the river. Amazing stars. Clean pit toilets and friendly hosts. Little road noise at site 17 since it is right on the river. Small parking space but big site.

The park has great walking trails, a botanical trail and a historical trail. We liked the location but the sites are tiny and close together. We stayed two nights, noisy neighbors one night but no neighbors the next.

Camped in November. I launched my kayak right from the campsite. Very few people in the park. Visitors center was closed. Quiet time. Lots of birds. Beautiful fall leaves.
