Here’s a park you DON’T want to stop at. Cedar Breaks RV Park in Cedar City Utah. Our 40’ 4059 Newmar SuperStar felt like it was going to dump over crossing the way to aggressive speed bump to get into this place. We could NOT enter their entry drive, it was too tight. And then it could not make the corner to pull down the lane our site was in. AND it could NOT make the corner to pull into our site once we drove it through an empty campground site to circumnavigate a tight entry corner. By the way… only 2 sites in the camp are considered “big rig” sites. So, we are in the site next to where they’d wanted us to squeeze in. We had to back in. And we had to unhitch our Bronco obviously to do that. To make things even tighter ALL the sites have a concrete (4” high or higher) berm around the grassy area AND the utilities area. So you are not able to smoothly approach your site. It’s all 90° angles. Again, quite a feat in our awesome (I do love my superstar just wish it could turn a bit tighter) rig. When I went to register that we were here the office door was locked (during office hours) and our campground map was outside in a rack. Not a big deal, I’m used to that after hours… but during “open” hours? Someone heard me try the door and came and opened it. The girl working the computer could barely be bothered to answer a few questions. And then when I called them after I walked to our spot and realized we wouldn’t fit I got that “whatever” attitude (again) from her. The sites are also not very level… our back tires are off the ground with the leveling system. Thankfully we’re only over-nighting and will be on the road tomorrow morning. And we will NEVER be back to this nightmare of a campground. If this campground had been full we’d have been spending the night at a truck stop, because we’d never have been able to get into a site. And if you’d read this far, my husband is an excellent driver of big rigs, he’s a 4th generation farmer who drove big rigs on our farm all the time.
