I read the book by Frank De Felitta, then, many years later, viewed the movie. Seems that this case was pretty well documented by the clinical psychologists, and, by many witnesses. My theory is that Doris Bither was an undiagnosed schizophrenic with RSPK abilities, which were unknown to her, that manifested themselves in the physical phenomena that was observed, measured, and documented by the research team.
