We camped in the non-electric loop, which is open until winter. It was free because the main loop was closed for the season. There were 3 or 4 other campers on our loop. This CG has everything we were hoping for! Lots of trails to explore, wildlife, beauty and quiet! The electric loop closed on 9/15. The camp host was still there, and he was so helpful and kind! Dixon was his name.

Clean, well lit, level. Nice staff in Walmart. Very busy towards end of the day, but there was plenty of room for all sizes. I really wish people would CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOGS!!! Stop ruining the boondocking for RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERS and non-pet owners!! What possible excuse do these pet owners have for not cleaning up after their pets, other than they are simply lazy and dirty slobs!!??
