We stayed there over the holiday weekend and it is always crowded but very manageable. Everyone is so nice and everything is very clean. I only have two very small issues: 1). ants they are out of control. They are Everywhere! 2). The road are very bad. Pot holes everywhere, but the spot we stayed in was paved and very nice. This is a diamond in the rough. The river is right there and it very pretty and you can walk the whole park. Worth a visit.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Made us feel right at home. The campground was clean and quiet. We had campsite 50 and the view was amazing. Morning coffee overlooking the lake with a warm fire by outside. This was wonderful campground with the beauty, peacefulness, and serenity that you are looking for.

I was excited to arrive at Garner State Park and it didn’t disappoint. The park was very pretty and there is a lot to do. We came in the spring and there was a lot closed. And the bugs was out of control. But if you can get past that it was a great place to hike.

We stayed Sunday through Wednesday because most of the weekends were all booked up. But found out that is what most of the RVers do at this campground. And it was perfect. We were greeted by our camp host and met so many friendly people. My first thought is that the spots was a little to close but that quickly was a after thought. It’s perfect for pets and children. All the campers was quick to invite you around the campfire. The river was beautiful and there was trails to walk and explore. This was so peaceful and enjoyable. And if you can the little town of Blanco was icing on the cake!! Little shops and we are at Redbuds for sandwich and it was amazing. We also stopped at a little pie shop Deutsch Apple Bakery, that made everything fresh each morning and it too was delicious. I wished we would have booked the whole week.
