The owner, Charlie, is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Hubby and I enjoyed this small quiet campground.
Close to Hayesville for grocery shopping, fast food, and home town eateries.
Our only negative is the location of the dump station.

The campground is located on the grounds at the backside of the plantation. Secluded and shady sites. Full hook ups. Picnic tables under the trees on the grounds. Lovely butterfly and hummingbird garden.
Plantation is a short drive out of Washington, a nice small town with lots of history plus some good eateries!
We will absolutely return

We stayed for two weeks in April. The park is wooded providing privacy for the sites. Premium sites have a nice large wooden deck. But many of the regular spots are just as nice.
The bath house is clean -- and lots of hot water, at least thru the week. We only used the bath house when park was almost empty during the week. Camp hosts are friendly and helpful.
The roads are terrible! Full of pot holes.
On any following visits our choice of a site would be off from the lake

Dogwood Springs is at the top of our most favorite stays. From making a reservation to checking our the managers were top notch, caring, and thoughtful.
The park is very well kept - grass cut, no garbage anywhere, pool well maintained, etc.
The park offers cabins (which are quaint and clean), RV / TT sites, and tent sites. A wonderful covered patio area is near the pool for guests to enjoy.
I cannot say enough about our positive experience at Dogwood Springs. My husband and I enjoyed the managers, Caleb & Jenn plus adorable little boy, so much. Very special fellowship time with them.
My husband and I highly recommend a stay - we will absolutely return to visit with them.

This park has nice size, level sites. The FHU sites are slightly shaded (not big trees). The water/electric sites are wooded with lots of shade and more privacy.
The bathhouse is very clean. A laundry with 2 washers and 2 dryers ($1.75 per load) is located in the bathhouse building.
A water play area is available for the kids.
A marina and beach area is a short drive around the lake.

Happened upon this fabulous park by accident. My hubby and I were thrilled to stay here. No reservation but one "walk up" spot -- #1 -- was available. Park voluteers and rangers were very helpful, kind, friendly! "People friendly" workers make the best impression! 😀
Our site was bordered by trees - so peaceful and quiet!
Enjoyed this park so much that we made reservations for January - site 31 overlooking the water
