We spent three nights here. Checked in on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend so it was quite busy around the park our first 24hrs. Our site was in the North Loop which has a much smaller beach access than the south loop.

Few things to note about the park

Our site, 172 was in full sun all day. Zero shade. Every other site in the park has some shade. Choose wisely. The site is also next to the primary beach access, but it wasn’t as bothersome as you would expect.

Access at this park is tight for big rigs. Not impossible, but our 35’ Super C could not avoid some branches going in and out. The sites are also a little tight for a big rig with slides. We ultimately had to back out of our pull through site rather than giving it a dual sided scrub with the branches at the exit of the site.

I’ll start with cell service. It is highly dependent on where you are in this park if you have cell service on T-Mobile. Our site, 139 did not have service. Walk to the other side of our loop and I could get 1 - 2 bars.

This is a super family driven park. Lot of families staying and visiting ocean shores down the road. It’s a bit older by WA parks standards, but well maintained and clean.

The ocean is a surprisingly long walk through the dunes. More than expected, but also not terrible.

Our site was pretty close to the site next to us, borderline like a KOA. The fire pit was behind our coach and even if there had not been a burn ban, I wouldn’t have used it given its proximity.

Overall, we would stay here again, but not in the same site.

We stayed at Indian Waters for just over three weeks this year. It’s a great park.

The site(s) we had where well maintained. We had to move mid stay as we extended our time at the park. Our first site, 34, was a “deluxe patio grass site”. Right across from the pickle ball courts. The courts where active until about 6p, but not bothersome. Full sun until about 3p when our awning could provide some outdoor shade.

Our second site, 48, was a “deluxe gravel site”. A little more hidden and at the end of a dead end. The site had our door facing north which made for a lot more shade all day long.

The park is older but very well maintained. Grounds staff where helpful and they have services like daily trash pickup. There can be some noise from the neighborhood around the park. Like most big parks in Palm Springs, this one has had a neighborhood grow up around it.

T-Mobile cell service was not good in the area. We had coverage but it seemed to be overloaded when trying to use for web activity. ATT worked with no issues.

We would absolutely stay here again.

This locations website does a good job of overselling this location. It is decent enough, but don’t expect to see the lake. Just a canal and fields of cattails. I would not recommend site 64. From the map layout it looked like a private, secluded site. It’s probably one of the worst in the park on that front. The park is clean and well maintained. I gave it three stars but it’s probably worth four if you visit with the expectation that you need a boat or won’t be seeing the lake.

Stayed for New Years Eve and really enjoyed this park. There are only a handful of sites directly on the water. We where in site T20, which if all the others are full, is worth booking, but be aware, the trail along the water runs perilously close to your site.

The park itself is well spaced out and there is a decent amount of privacy. Don't come for sandy beach walks though. The park is on hood canal so no sandy beaches here. We would recommend anyone add this to their list. I would be cautious about a summer rental, I suspect it maybe a bit louder and busy then.

We stayed here after our original camp site we had reserved was well, not what we thought it would be. We’ve always wanted to try a Love’s RV location and this did not disappoint. Great access, near the freeway but minimal noise. Full hookups and trash cans at the site. Site was paved and clean. We had a problem with the water at our site valve was damaged by the last guest. In less that 5 min, the Loves staff had us hooking up to the open site next to us. This really is what a “KOA journey” should be. Additionally, you get a full Loves at your stay. We fueled up the night we checked in and grabbed breakfast before we left. Perfect!

This was a pleasant find just off the freeway. The park has large, both long and wide, sites. Impeccable landscaping and maintenance. This park grows flowers on site and plants them around the park. The park is fairly quiet with just a bit of noise from the freeway. Wifi was signal was strong and speed was decent for an RV park. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This was a nice find for a winter time RV getaway. It's the pacific coast, so expect rain in the winter, but the location of our site was right on the edge looking out over the water. It was simply amazing.

The park has limited services, our site was power only, most sites aren't serviced at all. There is not a lot of open park space and recreation is really going to be at your site or down on the beach depending on the tide. The dump station/freshwater fill maybe a bit tough for larger rigs, our Super C coach cleared, but a larger 5th wheel pulling in to get water and return to the park may struggle.

This is a nice family campground with tons of trees and shade. It wasn’t a party all night but there are lots of kids enjoying the park. Park WiFi was good and fast.
