We were pleasantly surprised when we drive in. Hardly anyone here and we were able to park in a nice gray spot so the dog could run without stickers. Quiet all nite and felt very safe. We were a bit disappointed that they would not give us the 1 night harvest host offer since the store was closed.

Not much else available around here. Very noisy but free and we had a great breakfast. At this time there is a very large parking area due to close businesses around there. Ll

Great to have a free shoot to pull over. Just beware of the panhandlers! They started hitting us up the moment we pulled in and never quit until it got dark.
Restaurant was clean.

Clean, accessible RV dump with both potable and dump water. Looks like a quiet overnight rest stop.

PROs Campground is paved and level and right beside Canyon de Chelly.
CONS no running water at dump station, no showers, and the entire park is covered with goatheads. Don't bring your furry friends here!

This is a campground, not just a dump station. Park is paved and level. It is right beside the entrance to Canyon de Chelly tours. Rv dump was available but no running water. Very quiet since no roads nearby and we were the only campers.

However, the whole park was covered with goatheads! Don't let your dogs out!

This could have easily been a good experience but the people at the office were so unfriendly. The rate has gone up to $15 plus tax. No one else was in the park and they insisted check out time was 10 am which doesn't Allow any time to see the park before leaving. I asked if we could have an extra hour or 2 since there was obviously plant of empty space and they adamantly said NO! I didn't take time to check out the crystal campground across the street but it had a sign that said free camping which we didn't notice until we had parked at this one.

We came here hoping to spend the weekend near a lake. The water is so low it is about a mile from the campsite. The sites are set within many rocks which is kind of nice but bru few level offer long sites. Flush toilets but showers are turned off. Rv dump but flush water turned off. Found one water spigot in the whole camp ground. It was very confusing to figure out how the CG was laid out as many of the arrows are worn off. The wind was horrible and I guess that is normal. For all of this they still wanted $28 per night! It seems like the should have been reduced rates with no water.

Good thing, we are the only ones on the whole CG except for one we assumed was the host but never greeted us.

The signs day "overnight camping only no services". Water was off, one bathroom locked and other dirty but we are self contained. It is marked on the street as a rest area but has 2 small campsites and lots of room along the curb to park and have the slides out. The grass is thick and free of stickers so the dog had a blast. A little creek runs down the middle. Seems fairly quiet, just a bit of street noise. Smells like horses as there is a horse ranch just to the hill and the wind was blowing towards us.
