This is a well maintained campground with many things to for the outdoors loving nature buff. Plenty of paved roadway and off road trails for bikers. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and look forward to returning. Our posted rate did not include the Sr. discount.

Nice little town park. Was quiet and peaceful and convenient to I-10 for a nightly stopover. Was given a full hookup space for only $15. You can’ beat that!

Campgrounds were beautiful and well maintained,but there seems to be a problem with ants. Hundreds of tiny ones infested our trailer and we spent the two days getting rid of them.

Loved this campground. The roadway from the entrance and the loop through the campground is all paved now and our campsite #46 was across the road from the canoe launch area, so was very convenient to the lake. The Withlacoochee River runs through the lake and the paddle upstream was easy and scenic. The paved Withlacoochee bike trail is directly across the road from the entrance station, which was very easy access and pleasant to ride. There is also a mountain bike trial that starts at the adjoining Crooked River Campground and follows the river upstream that was fun to ride. We had a great experience here and hope to return in the future.

This was our first time camping at this park and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Love camping in the woods and this campground has more than the usual vegetation screening between sites. All the sites are level and easy to back into with any size RV. We are happy to report that the new bath house is beautiful, very clean, and has two sets of new coin operated washers and dryers. Paved sidewalks connect to the three handicapped sites. We will definately return to camp here again,and for us seniors the 50 percent discount makes it even more appealing.

Spent 2 nights on our way across country. Verynice enjoyable stay. Disc golf course is one of the nicer ones I have played with half well manicured level grass, and the other half more rugged, narrow fairways for a more technical play. The visitors center is very good as well with displays about the Oregon Trail. The occasional train noise was minimal and we had no issues with bugs or insects. Would definitely stay here again.

The campground itself was clean and well maintained. All sites looked quite level,but without screening between sites. We did not use the public bath house. The adjacent boat launching areas were not so clean. The camp host was friendly and helpful. We did spend an enjoyable day visiting Oxford.
