Nice well maintained campground with large paved sites. The prices are good, has decently priced laundry on site, and the staff is friendly. The park is far enough off the freeway where there isn't much road noise. There isn't really anything exciting about the campground. Also, I'm not sure what you would do in the area that isn't more than a 20 minute drive.

There are fire ants everywhere throughout the campground. I got attacked right away by some small ants when setting up. Each site has different amenities, like a privacy wall, or concrete pad, so check google maps to scout out a decent site. Most sites are small and have little privacy. The check-in staff weren't friendly and gave no instructions besides giving me my access pass. The worst part for me was that the Verizon service was terrible. We stayed through Christmas and New Year's and basic websites wouldn't even load after 5 PM. Same thing for my Winegard Verizon hotspot, which I haven't had issues with anywhere.

This is essentially a no-rules campground, so I was able to get some RV renovations in. The proximity to the beach, fishing, and view of the Space X Starship Starbase is also a plus.
