We checked out the route in advance as much as we could. Planned on parking the RV at the trail head while we scouted in our truck. Google maps took us on the road from 160 to Badger Springs. The road up from Badger Road winds through a neighborhood and turns into a narrow forest service road, which eventually turns into a very rough bumpy rutted narrow road.

When we looked at maps again we saw that there was another option. You can access Turkey Springs road from CR 600 which is paved most of the way. If you search Turkey springs trailhead on Google maps it should take you the better route. Hope this is clear.

It is a beautiful area and we would stay here next time. We did not figure this out until we went mountain biking in the area.

Allen's bar is conveniently located right off the 101 close to the Olympic Rainforest and the Pacific beaches. We enjoyed sitting outside listening to the sounds of the river. There were several other campers in the area but there was plenty of room for everyone. We have a 37 foot class A motorhome and we were easily able to get our RV in and out. If you go closer to the water there is a big dip, watch your rear end. We stayed back from the waters edge, but there were several big RV's closer to the water. We had great cell service with Verizon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time boondocking on Tom's Best Spring Road. Plenty of boondocking spots available for all sized rigs. We camped in the first meadow on the left approximately 1.5 miles in. We have a 37 foot class A motorhome and had plenty of room to maneuver. There is a dump station/potable water at Red Canyon campground 4 miles away (cost $6). There are dumpsters a few miles away at the rest area on the way to Bryce Canyon. We had great cell coverage with Verizon and we could stream videos on Netflix. It was quiet with convenient access to Bryce Canyon, Red Canyon and Highway 12 Scenic Route.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Junction RV Park. The owners and park managers are friendly and helpful. The RV park is immaculate, had good wifi and a wonderful community firepit for nights by the fire. it is easy to find, right off the main highway. We would definitely stop in again if we were passing through the area.

We stayed here in our 37 foot Class A motorhome. There are limited sites that will fit bigger RV's, many of the sites are on a slope. There is some road noise, but overall the campground was quiet. We paid $11 with a National Parks Access Pass, the regular nightly rate is $22.

The campground hosts are super friendly and helpful. We had no service with Verizon but we were able to use Starlink in site 5. It worked reasonably well, it would be difficult if you needed to do any video conferences or long phone calls.

The shade is a nice respite from the warm sun, but was not great for solar. Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The only downside was a lack of trails around the campground.
