IMPORTANT NOTE: If arriving late, the gate appears locked, but the exit side can be pushed open and closed behind you. The camp host advised us that this was perfectly acceptable because the guard station is not manned after the gate closes. We were frustrated upon arrival because we were not notified in advance of this.

The campground was really beautiful and quiet and the facilities were well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in site 22 with our off-road caravan. The site is perfect for a small teardrop or off-road trailer like ours. Site 22 has electric and water but no sewer hookups. It is situated very close to the restrooms and showers. Perfect for our needs! The campground is about 20 minutes from Morro Bay and 30 minutes from Paso Robles. We took day trips to enjoy both areas.
