Anything to do with waste water is out of commission. My understanding is that they hope to have repairs completed by November sometime.

It is there on 11th street. It's on the left hand side of road passed the last warehouse with a fenced yard.
No water and the drain is under the rectangular steel cover in the cemented square.

We stay here frequently in the spring and fall. We're never had any problems. It does get full sometimes. It's quiet but there is some sort of machinery that runs on occasion for a day or two.

So this is a nice campground. Has showers, laundry, electric and water and some full. But no wifi. But it totals out to $50+ a night with the daily park pass. That's more than a lot of private campgrounds and with more amenities.

We are boondockers. We come into civilization for a day every couple of weeks to get WiFi, showers, and errands. This will be our go to spot for SW Colorado from here on out. The showers are fresh and clean with great pressure and temperature. The laundry facility is clean and in excellent repair. The sites are clean and the hook-ups are in good repair. Its quite for being in town and is centrally located in Cortez. Quick access to everything in town.

Vault toilets, I have a 25' travel trailer and was able to jockey it in on an angle. Wouldn't try anything bigger. Place is clean and maintained. Justin the BLM representative was both friendly and informative. Great guy!
Quiet at night. No easy access to the river but you camped right next to it.

You have to walk the interpretive 1 mile trail to fully appreciate this place. You can see the Milky Way on a clear night here.

Sites are not level. Was jam packed on the weekend. Bathrooms were clean staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing to get excited about stayed 2 nights. Were missing a picnic table when we arrived. Staff handled it promptly and friendly.

Tried Neligh and they were full. Came here next; 5 open slots. Not picturesque but full hook up for 13 bucks a night, SOLD! Has a park at the end with a playground. Propane right around the corner. Pay at city hall but they had no envelopes and are closed. We check in tomorrow. Ashfall fossil beds are about 25 minutes away.

Quiet, reasonably level, most are pull throughs. Little dirty but not terrible.
