This boondocking spot was absolutely amazing! This is a must stay spot if you are in Texas! The locals were very kind and helped us out with any questions we had. Unfortunately we could not find the free showers people talked about but we found $1 showers at a campground up the beach. The beach was a little dirty but we picked up the trash around us and it made it perfect. It is dog friendly which our dog loved! There is a lot of wildlife! We only had one other camper join us on the beach and it was only for 2 nights.

The park was easy to find and the sites are all pull-thru facing a pond. All the sites are full hook-ups (water, 20/30/50 amp, and sewer). We had to use leveling blocks on one side of our fifth wheel. The park is just a grassy field with no privacy. And the park it’s self is not a park at all. No play equipment just 2 baseball diamonds.
The showers & bathrooms were absolutely disgusting!!!!! Bugs, mouse feces, garbage inside, not very hot showers, and the doors are hard to get shut. The laundry room was also very disgusting!
There is no one on duty because it is city ran. You have to make your reservation by phone.
The RV Park is located next to a small airport. At night we heard a few planes take off.

We stopped here to dump, only to find there was no dump station.
We stopped here to dump only to end up driving away. The price to dump was $8, but there was no water of any kind. So we decided to try our luck else where.
