Rate reflects Good Sam Discount. Newer park. Great camp hosts. Off 70 (but a 1/2 mi. gravel road to the park). Didn’t like the street light over the rig at night, took away from the country sky and possible stars. Pull thru’s are set up to be back to back if crowded (and numbered as such) so pull thru’s could be converted to back-ins. Utilities are really spaced out and could lead to shared water too. Not finished yet but expensive in comparison to other parks with much more established landscaping and amenities. We will try another campground next time.

Stayed here July 2019 to go to Six Flags which is very close.
Check in is at 3p. Roads are narrow. Sites (most of them) are narrow back ins. There are a handful of pull thru’s. My main issue is that most of the “sites” are pre-fab cabins. Lots of them. They are spaced in and out of the handful of RV sites. The people in the cabins (I suspect) are not RVers and do not understand basic RV courtesy, I.e., walking through your site, and most frustrating, actually parking in your site. (See photo). So, yeah, I’ll try the KOA if I’m ever back in the area.

Sites are small, narrow and therefore there are quite a few ruts from trucks/ RVs leaving the road. Some full hook-ups on the lake but lots and lots of mosquitoes (not sure because of wet spring or this is a normal population). No privacy between sites. Our site, Site 151 (pull thru FHU), was a little odd. The neighboring site (152) was also a pull thru but it had no utilities (unless it used site 151) but when pulling into 151 to use the utilities the trailer was faced in the opposite direction of all the others in the row causing our patio side to look at another trailers patio side (150), a little awkward. This could be an advantage if traveling with friends. No good bike trails and the hiking trails are hilariously terrible. Dog park was nice but had to drive there from the campground (5 min. drive along a striped 2 lane road not really walkable). There are tennis courts at the Fort Loramie City Park in town (8 min. drive). Didn't see anything in town that was especially attractive as far as entertainment, but that's my humble opinion.
