Pretty cool to see, just for the historical significance behind it. There was a surprisingly cool museum there as well, and if you're there you might as well go to the observation deck. The only downside was the construction taking place all around the area, making it hard to navigate and appreciate. Worth a stop though.

Great views! I got lucky and showed up just at sunset. You could definitely see the pink in the rocks, hence the name "Sandia", meaning watermelon in Spanish.

Worth a quick stop, if you have time. If not, you aren't missing anything. It's just pretty neat that's all.

It looks cool, but you really can't get close enough for it to be worth it.
