Took my two girls for their first fishing experience here and was not disappointed. The property in quirky but beautiful. Fishing pond is fed by a spring and stocked with rainbow trout. There's a great view of a massive rock bluff in the distance. We were warmly greeted and my kids were given a free lesson on how to cast their loaner fishing rods. They caught a bunch of fish and had a great time!
This looked a lot more fun for the folks that had dune buggies and motorcycles. Traveling with two kids it wasn't much to see. The surrounding town was nice and we enjoyed that part of the visit but the dunes are not much of an attraction on foot.
Beautiful campground in beautiful wilderness. Stayed here two days with my two kids and we loved the place. Camp hosts were friendly and campsites all looked very nice. We stayed two nights here after a visit to Mt. Rainier and it was a great place to be.
Beautiful campground, absolutely stunning. I camped here with my two kids and it was like being in Ewok Village for two days. Beautiful wilderness and campsites. Highly recommended.
Would probably have enjoyed this campground more if it wasn't for the unbelievable mosquito infestation we found there in late June. They were everywhere and they were aggressive. We spent our time in our tent and everyone got bit. I ran my stove long enough to boil some water and by the time I was done there were seven dead mosquitoes by the burner. This made it difficult to enjoy the campground. It might have otherwise been worthy of a 5* rating.
Beautiful campground. It's more social than most but a great place to stop, have an enjoyable time, and camp easy. Showers were a plus and bathrooms were clean. Convenience store was surprisingly reasonably priced. Staff was friendly. This is a nice lively campground if you have kids.
