Amazing views mixed with history of "Death's Door", this unique beach is not made of sand but of Great Lakes polished smooth stones! Please feel them, enjoy them, make beach art with them... But if you take one from the beach (and it is tempting) it will cost you! Stealing one of these precious stones comes with a $250.00 fine! The whole of Washington Island is amazing, I highly recommend a weekend trip for anyone!
