We drove the long 50 some miles back to Chitina in a RV. Beautiful scenery and the view of nine of the 16 largest mts in the USA is nothing but spectacular. Decided against going farther into Macarthy as weather wasn’t looking promising and the RV wasn’t the best vehicle to take an further it seemed. Many beautiful rivers and views along the way in and out!

The night! I checked local restaurants and decided on 32 bar and grill, which actually has changed names from the warehouse bar and grill so make note of that! When we pulled into the parking lot it was busy with locals which is always a good sign!!! We had amazing service from Debbi, best waitress ever! Thank you Debbi for everything! Prime Rib special and we were both moaning with each bite! Yuuummm! I love to cook so I expect good food when we go out and I was not disappointed!! The rib had a small ant of fat which you expect and need in a good prime, cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth! The broccoli was done to perfection and our potatoes were quite lovely also! Beverages were very reasonably priced and the cab was mellow, as I like! My husband ordered one after tasting mine!!! So in wrapping this up, if you pass this place, it’s your problem, as we will make this a stop on our yrly trip from north to south and back again!! ❤️👏🏻
Second yr here and don’t come! Best kept secret around! No crowds, no spring breakers till March and lovely beaches, secluded and pristine!
The food was tremendous at the Restuarant and we rented kayaks at the beach to head to Green Cay for a little snorkeling
Those in our party that didn't want to venture out stayed at the beach where they rented huts with 2 chairs each for very reasonable rates!!
