Not a church. This is the warehouse for Arm and Hammer products.
Closed for the season Sept 17 2020
A lot of history. Lots of neat artifacts and pieces of Native American art. They had a tribute to Native American veterans and played the Star Spangled Banner in Lakota. The light show was a little cheesy until the end, which was beautiful and worth it.
7 day trip pass for your car is $20. But the views are breathtaking. The single lane tunnels were neat. We saw a lot of wild life. Totally worth the price.
Free, free, free, free. Its really neat, try to guess all the cars. It was a nice stop on the way to South Dakota.
It was neat reading all the names of veterans from Nebraska and the stats from each war. The memorial is eight off the highway by a lake. The navigation in the app takes you to the wrong location. We had gotten an area sightseeing map from our hotel lobby and it was listed on there.
Its like a wax museum with hand held speakers. The place reminded me a lot like hanging out at Bass Pro shops without merchandise. If you are hard of hearing the handsets are hard to hear over ambient noiseand other people's speakers. I wish they had it so you could read more. There were few relics from history, and it just seemed lacking for me. We went through the whole museum in a hour.
