(This is actually in Colorado.) Absolutely beautiful, rustic campground. Nicely spaced campsites. Easily made our reservations online and we're delighted that we didn't have to check in. Just rolled up to our reserved site & settled in.
Overall, a beautiful park. I think camping here would be delightful. Our biggest beef with the park is the bad trail signage. What should have been a 4 mile hike to Hidden Falls became a 6 mile trek because of poor trail signage -- and we weren't the only ones who had difficulty navigating the trail. Ranger station is VERY nice (with 24-hour showers) and rangers were very friendly and helpful.
The staff is very friendly here. Obviously not a high end hotel but it's clean & decent and excellently priced for a tight budget. There are several amenities including a pool, free wifi & complementary continental breakfast.
Great, friendly staff. Good food. Great beer. We went on a Friday night fully expecting a long wait. Nope. I think we maybe waited 10 minutes before getting a handy little text on my cell phone that our table was ready. Hubby & I both had the Widow Maker burger. It hit the spot. I also enjoyed their Dark Side Vanilla Porter which was smooth & delightful.
