Gorgeous little village with adobes, hummingbirds, and $$$ little restaurants and shops. As the mission’s slogan says, “It’s worth a visit”.
When I saw this on Roadtrippers I knew I had to see it. My wife said “It’s not real!”, and I countered with “It’s as real as concrete!” It was a ten-minute diversion that provides endless conversation, as the previous review by the guy who is probably now divorced proves. I loved it.
One of my favorite stops on my PCH trip. This is the mission to visit. Get there early to avoid the 8th grade field trips.
A house is being constructed on-site, so views are currently limited by fencing. It was still a fun side trip, and looking is free!
