It was a good 3 night stay. I have to give the hotel two thumbs up for being accommodating, I think our party changed our reservations at least 5 times. We started out with 5 rooms with families; by the time we arrived, we kept changing the number of rooms needed. We had dwindled down to 2 rooms with a special request for an accessible room. I had a rented motorized wheelchair and needed a room that I could drive it into. There was no accessible door. Someone always had to open the door for me and sometimes no one was around to help. This could have been easily remedied with an automatic handicap door button.
Otherwise, my daughter coined it perfectly...it was homey, the staff was pleasant, helpful and always available; secure and safe; coffee was good, can't remember what we ate, but no complaints from my food critics. Beds were comfortable and always made. We were minutes away from Knotts Berry Farm and a period ice cream parlor. Despite the fact we were on Hwy 39, it was quiet. It was a bit of a drive to disneyland, 15 to 20 mins, half a block south then a left onto Ball Rd which takes you right up to the happiest place on earth. There are sights everywhere once you reach disney area.
My husband liked the hotel and location. He hates hussle and bussle, so this place was his cup of tea or java. I like it because we are not far from everything, which included Long Beach.....what to say....

I gave it a four because it is a great burger joint and you are sitting over the ocean. The staff and people are great. Good family memories.
Hubby liked the place, couldn't see much of it...the accessible room was poorly situated too far from ramp and it was 1 stair level down to nearest exit. lucky I can walk and take the step..good people though. Room was a room
