I arrived at this campsite in the afternoon and found the office is locked & closed. I called the owner/ manager Norman and he gave me 3 sites to check out and pick one. We picked site 9 which was long enough to have 2 campers on it. I’m guessing at least 120’long if not more. It was a pull through site. It was a full service site with a nice picnic table and campfire pit.
My husband and I aren’t the Resort kind of folks and we loved the quiet back to nature campground. so if you want fancy with lots of amenities then pick another campground. You will think I’m nuts for giving it 3-4 stars!
I never saw Norman, nor was the office or laundry room ever open. I was able to get information from Norman on the 3rd day where to drop off my money and there is a drop off box for seasonal campers utility bills and that’s where I put my fees for 3 days.
I understand that there’s a Bullmoose and 3-4 cows in the area but we didn’t see them. We saw some loons and native birds on the pond.
There’s a beautiful lake at the back of the campground where you can do lake activities including renting canoes. That would have been fun during the summer.
Enjoy your stay at the Wanderin Moose Campground if you want some quiet, tranquil camping.

Awesome Campsite! We are self contained but checked out the Bath House and it was super clean and rustic modern. Nice paved road for walking.
We spent our first dinner at the Saloon and had a wonderful dinner of Haddock and Lobster Roll as well as Open Mic entertainment.
Definitely check out Bentley’s if you need a nice campsite!
