Wonderful beaches and a nice campground make this a nice place for a day trip or longer stay. Good place to come and relax. Has a very nice visitor center, too.

10 Things I Hate About You! Not a place you can tour unfortunately, but still an amazing building and location.

Easily one of the best city parks in the country. Hiking, beaches, a zoo and aquarium and historical park. Great place to spend an afternoon with friends, kids, or just by yourself.

This is an urban campground in the city limits, so it's a campground you'd use for the location rather than the scenery. But our site was fairly quiet and very well shaded and the facilities were well maintained.

Stopped here because my daughter had heard about it and wanted to see it. The park across the street was a nice place for a picnic lunch. It is impressively large and a nice drive through the country to and from Darwin, but not really worth an extra trip.

Usually only accessible during the summer months when the Old McKenzie Highway is open, but it's worth the trip. Gorgeous views of the Cascades and miles of lava flows in every direction. And switchback road to get there is beautiful, too.

Definitely a must see. The rugged, rocky shoreline and the carefully manicured flower gardens are a beautiful contrast to each other. Best to go in the spring and summer when the flowers are in bloom and the beach is best to visit during low tide so you can reach some of the rocky areas.

Lighthouses are awesome and so are ghost stories. Put them together and you get a great destination to visit. There is a point about halfway up the stairs where the temperature seems to shift several degrees without explanation. Local legend is it has something to do with Muriel's ghost.

The first time I brought my Midwestern wife here, she described it as the type of place she only imagined in fairy tales. Hike down to the foot of the falls for great photo ops.

Amazing. Breathtaking. Truly unique. I've never seen a picture that quite captures the vivid blue of the lake. I've visited many times and I still catch my breath when I first see the lake. If you want the best views, be prepared to hike and be warned that most trails are steep.
