A must see. Well organized tour. First stop is visitors center, then a coach bus ride up a very steep hill to the mansion. The mansion and gardens are absolutely gorgeous and amazing. A great stop for history buffs. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Two hour tour was over in what felt like minutes. I will visit again when in the area again. This is a “don’t miss”. For $30 it is the best value.
Quaint rustic yet modern cottage style hotel. Rooms were large, clean and inviting. Large restroom. If you have ever watched “dirty dancing” this is the modern day version! I would recommend. Walking path from hotel to village of Cambria. Fair warning though it is a steep climb back to hotel from village. Easy drive from hotel to village and Moonstone Beach and Hearst castle.
