Beautiful scenery. It’s early October and the fall colors are in. Campground practically empty. Staying in car right on the reservoir. Perfect!
Heaven on earth. Do it! Free 20 minute soak.
This was a bust. I ended up on a dirt road after 25 minutes on a farm road. Got scared and turned around. Avoid!!!
Will (owner) went above and beyond to make my check in and stay easy. The room is immaculate with simple tasteful decor. The WiFi is strong and plugs for phone charger including USB ports are handy.
I hiked the fallen rocks trail and the bluff. Note to self:bluff means a lot of uphill. Quite the workout but the views are so worth it.
This place is centrally located and easy to find. The rooms are dated but clean and quiet (off season) and kinda quaint. The owners are friendly and helpful.
They combine two of my favorite things - hiking through the woods and looking at art! Sneaky way to get me to hike 2 miles up and down hills. So worth it! The volunteers really take care of this place. I came at the end of September but it was super warm. Glad I had bug spray handy.
A paved easy hike along the Muskogee river. I parked at Hemlock Park and walked the loop past Swede Park. A quick 2 miles.
This was a nice stop. A relaxing walk not a hike at all. Restrooms were immaculate. Plenty of parking this time of year. A place to unwind.
Sweet little local park to stretch and catch a breeze.
