No frills here. Econolodge Memphis filled the bare requirements. It's a place to shower and sleep. The decor is outdated and not well maintained. The facility is pet friendly and you could tell from the dog poo in the hallways. The breakfast was technically hot but consisted of biscuits and cold gravy, defrosted eggo waffles and Some Danishes packed into an empty hotel room with 30 adults trying to get their money's worth. When notifying the staff the blow dryer was broken, they let me know they were aware and would work on it. One good part was it was only a ten minute walk from the Mississippi Riverfront. For the $70 plus $25 pet fee it served its purpose without grossing me out completely.
We stayed here for night while passing through Wythville. This hotel was conveniently located right off 81 and the staff was a pleasure to work with. The facility was pet friendly and well maintained. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable after a long day of driving. We enjoyed the hot breakfast buffet of make your own waffles and egg sausage and biscuit sandwiches. I would definitely recommend this best western!
