Brick City Grill, in Ames, IA, was awarded the “2014 Best Burger in Iowa“. That’s huge for them. Think of the competition from Zombie Burger – eek. Since they are the best burger in Iowa this is probably the best way to get a sample of their award winning burger. They also have a great all you can eat wing special.
The restaurant has a great, modern and refreshing atmosphere to it. Thanks to wall-to-ceiling glass, the whole dining room is exposed which gives the place tons of natural lighting. The kitchen is slightly exposed too which lets the flavors of fresh fried chicken leak out into the dining room area. The floor is concrete, and the tables were a modern style too.
They feature no-corkage fee EVER. If you’re looking for a tasty happy hour, be sure to hit up Django for that as well. Their happy hours is Mon-Fri from 4-6 pm. Have a drink from their specialty cocktail list, enjoy $1.50 oysters and $1.50 shrimp as well as half-price cheese and charcuterie plates
