Loved this stop on our road trip between Reno and Death Valley. The snow made the short drive off the highway a bit adventurous, but worth it! Wear your shoes to the pools but otherwise it’s clothing optional. With my teens, We chose one farther from the parking area, and a nearby cool pool offer the option to plunge into snowmelt between heating sessions. One of our family’s favorite stops!
Reasonable prices for a OK stay. Our room on the 16th floor definitely wasn’t high enough to escape the noisy freeway traffic. After an average meal of solid comfort food at the resort buffet, we enjoyed the pool with waterfall, soaking tubs and hot tub. My main complaint was the noisy room and the smoke that permeates the building from the casino. I would choose another place to stay for future visits.
