The first room they gave me for the night was not made the bathroom was dirty and there was even a used bar of soap Sitting on the side of the tub. I wouldn’t say this was very Covid friendly. I don’t see where I was placed in a room that was sterilized and disinfected and cleaned properly.
The second room I was given after that although the walls were pretty dirty it seem to serve its purpose of a place to sleep. Unfortunately, we woke up with bugs crawling all over my family one specific bed had more than the other. Furthermore, one of us has bites and welts all over us I have pictures as proof!!
We were then put in a third room that did not have heat we called down and they provided a space heater at this point this is my third room I’m exhausted I can’t sleep because of bugs or the concern of and I’m a bit chilly. Eventually , When I woke up I realized it was time to check out soon I asked if I could stay until 1:00 That I would even pay if I had to because I was sleep deprived and I didn’t want to drive I didn’t feel safe. Melissa said absolutely not that accommodations have been made and she wanted us to leave. Melissa she had horrible customer service skills herself, did not wear a mask while walking around the property and she was rude and insensitive to the fact that my family was covered in bedbugs. I don’t know if bedbugs can spread Covid or if they can harbor the disease but I would stay away from this hotel. When asking who her boss was she refused to provide that information when I’ve asked other employees who’s above her the only response I get was they don’t know anything and all the know is they report to her Melissa. I would stay away from this hotel!!! I can honestly say this was my first and last day there!!! To boot they wouldn’t even allow a refund....
