This campground was previously under the umbrella of the KOA brand. The new owners have kept most of the infrastructure and are making improvements. The site is near I-70, but the road noise is minimal because of the trees around the property. We had a pull through FHU patio site which was a free upgrade because the booking app put us in too small a site. They have RV sites, tent sites and cabins. Our site was very level. We didn't even need the jacks.
This is a mature property with many amenities for the kids. The campground has bathrooms and showers that we didn't use, but we checked them out and they were clean. Also a laundry room is available. What we admired most, was that there aren't any long-term residents in the park. Oh, and the WIFI a very fast and can support streaming which is allowed.
A fun part of the stay was our interacting with the 2 resident donkeys and several goats. This an all around pleasant and very treed park. We will definitely stop by on our travels again.

We were planning to stay one night on our way out West, but on the way here the right leg of our Blueox towbar became detached and mangle the tabs on the baseplate. Luckily we were advised by someone following us that our toad was all over the road. We extended our stay for 5 more nights so we could get replacement parts and are glad we did.
The people at the front office are friendly and helpful. The site was big enough for our rig and toad. It is a secluded spot

This is the way a campground should be. Friendly hosts, small size , a variety of sites and lots of trees. We were in a 50 amp full hookup on a concrete pad. They also offer tent camping sites. The drive in is somewhat narrow, but shouldn't be a problem unless you meet another big rig going the other way. They have WIFI, but I used my hotspot instead. Because of the pandemic we were asked not to use the restrooms as we could use our onboard facilities. They were open for tenters or others that are not self contained.

As mentioned, the draw is location as you camp feet away from the Mississippi river. Was enjoyable watching the boats travel up and down the river. Our site was not on the river and had we pulled into the spot correctly, we would be looking at the woods. We pulled in backwards and were still able to hook up by running the hoses/wires under the coach. This gave us the view.
The day we arrived, a large falling tree took down 2 electric transformers, leaving us without electricity, but we used the generator. Because of the lack of power, the park owner didn't charge us for the night. Power was restored the next day. We didn't use any of the facilities.
