We went early, and there was no one collecting parking fees. We walked the entire trail, and had a blast. There is a lot of history there, and please bring a CAMERA!

The hotel was Okay at best. The room was adequate, but the bathroom was terrible. The tub leaked, and the toilet was tiny. The included breakfast was okay if you like carbs (the only protein was frozen mini sausage biscuits). The staff was friendly. There is a pool which is essential on those hot days.

Beautiful Drive with many places to explore on foot. The scenery was breathtaking. When we we through, it was close to 100 degrees, so we only took advantage of one stopping point. BRING A CAMERA!
