The drive-thru at this McDonald's moves pretty slowly. Be sure to check your order, as I've left without fries more than once. And definitely verify that your Happy Meal has a toy. They have a bad habit of forgetting those.

I can't entirely figure out why, but my kids LOVE Orange Leaf. I don't know if it is the novelty of choosing your own toppings or getting as much yogurt as you want (that is, as much as Mom and Dad will allow) but they love it. This one is conveniently located if you're doing your shopping and want a quick snack.

Every T.G.I. Friday's is pretty much the same, and this one is little different. This one has the advantage of not being terribly crowded, as there are so many restaurants around it. Good service, ok food.
El Rancho Grande is a decent place to stop in for some Mexican. It won't blow your mind, but it is good food served by good people.

This is a great Christmas-time tradition at the Zoo. My mom likes to take the whole family, which gets crazy with all 7 grandchildren. The zoo staff does a terrific job with the lights. The lake is particularly fun with the lights set to music.
