Everyone has such magical things to say about Disneyland and I hate to be a party pooper, but it just wasn’t my favorite. We spent $800 for one day at one park and only got to ride about 6 rides (that was WITH the flash pass). Food is over-priced and the rides just weren’t that special. Save your money and go to Six Flags if you’re an adult or have teenage kids. Disneyland is just a bit over-hyped and entirely too commercial. A pair of Minnie Ears on a headband will cost you close to $30, so buy ahead!

The hotel garden is beautiful and it was a convenient location to stay just outside the Grand Canyon. They have a restaurant, gift shop, gas station and convenience store. Easy one stop place to stay! Our room opened to the garden from the front while having the Little Colorado River to the back entrance. Nice stay for the money!

Gorgeous and secluded! You will feel like you have the place all to yourself (because you probably will!). It’s a definite must see on the way to the Grand Canyon. From the softness of the sand under your feet, the luster of the surrounding rock, and the abundance of color in the walls of the Canyon, this place is MAJESTIC!
