Having been here now and to Myrtle Beach, SC, they're different but both so much fun! We went in Oct, so it wasn't as crowded as summer in MB. I do like the Gatlinburg location better because of the Penguins. We had 3 kids with us and they loved it!
Fun place for a few pics, most very Bohemian type area.
Expect to be walking/hiking for longer than 20 mins one way. We went but it began to thunderstorm and family was already tired so didn't see the full Falls, but was nice to see what we DID see!
I agree with the review by Jennoc. My Grandpa is of Cherokee Indian decent and used to race old cars and would love this place if he could get to it! Is NOT easily accessible for wheelchairs from main entrance :( Still though it was a great walk for the family!
A little bonus to see if visiting the Planetarium, otherwise it's ok. Tried to visit with the family and parking attendant told us no, we couldn't park there, even just for a few pics. We had to park 3 blocks away she said, but we had to drive through that area in order to exit... so... we stopped for a total of 1 minute, got a few shots in then left. :)
Was driving through town, looking for it. Couldn't find it via Mapquest and our GPS, so decided to go on our merry way. It will stay a secret to us! LOL!
