I lived here in 1977-1979. It was one of the best places we lived in while in the army. I got to visit here again in 2019 and there was nothing about it that I recognized. My elementary school was closed. All the houses were beige. It is bigger now than it was then. It was bittersweet to say the least.
We were here many years ago. The children loved it. The best part for them was a cat with her litter. It is worth the stop.
We bought a three tour package for Monticello and Highland. Wasn’t busy in the early afternoon. I didn’t know much about President Monroe but afterwards I felt I knew him a little bit. If you are a history buff it’s a must see.
Visited today (10/8/18). Such a beautiful waterfall! It’s a very strenuous hike. The view at the top is breathtaking! The water is so clear.
Easy to get to, beautiful park. Was very surprised by the park. Worth the stop.
She is absolutely beautiful! What more can I say! If you are visiting NYC she is a must. Purchase tickets months in advance because they tend to sell out, especially the crown.
Very beautiful! Not enough parking at the waterfall parking lot. But not a bad hike from park. Worth the trip! Especially if you like to go in the water.
Very pretty! I can’t believe what a great job they did on that little piece of land! My daughter and her friend and I enjoyed the walk around and we found a selfie stand! It’s also near discovery world and the art museum.
Easy enough walk to the bridge. However we were not able to get to the overlook. You can look over the bridge though. Still with the hike.
Was under construction and not opening till 2019. But still worth seeing.
