We went here on Christmas Eve and paid extra for the VIP parking because we don’t know the San Antonio area. I would give it a 3 out of 5 stars. We were expecting much more than they delivered. Mostly the whole walk is just spotlights on the trees/plants. There were 3 actual light displays that were really great, the rest just mediocre. I’ve been to the Columbus Ohio Zoo which had way way better displays than this place for less money. The hype was definitely better than the reality.
August 23, 2021- we followed directions from this link & there is NO round barn at this location. There is a big white barn, but very traditional, not round at all. Disappointing.
What an amazing piece of Nature! Beautiful hikes through the woods, outstanding river views & waterfalls, just really worth the trip to come here. We went in the Autumn, so it was especially beautiful. But Please, PLEASE, if you have children, hang onto them! There are many dangerous spaces for kids to fall hundreds of feet. I’d put a leash on mine if I had little ones, that’s how distressing it was to me. But it is a work of Nature’s art, that’s for sure!
