Really cool photo opp, plenty of parking around it (in whole foods parking lot), not worth going out of your way for it though. 4 stars only because I wish there was a plaque on it saying whit is here, who made it, or what it means.

If I hadn't been by myself, I could have spent the ENTIRE day here. It's quite a workout to climb up a dune because the sand is so soft, but sledding down is SO fun! Being your own sled is my best advice ($18.99 to buy one there because they don't rent them out). The temperature was HOT like 109° but the sand felt so cool in comparison, it wasn't hot at all! I recommend being barefoot and take baby wipes to get the sand out of places you don't want it because there are not showers here.

This is by far my favorite swimming hole (possibly ever), we are from Austin, Tx and used to the greenbelt but there just isnt privacy and huge waterfalls like this out there. We hiked just past the big waterfall and find our own quiet oasis and had a waterfall and pool all to ourselves! Only $5, a very shirt walk, and dog friendly. WEAR WATERSHOES!!

Did a 1.2 mile hike to Smith Springs to realize that even though it is a loop trail, the 1.2 is only to the actual spring. The overall distance is 2.3 miles and I think I almost killed my 6 month old puppy from dehydration and heat. There was only one bench along the way and it was at the spring under the trees so we took a quick nap to cool off. Beautiful park, I definitely will come back when I don't have my pup.

Cool statue! If you're already driving through town it makes a great photo opp and you can park at the drive thru beer barn next door

Wow! I am speechless after visiting this beautiful area today! My pup and I pulled in, parked, took a short hike to the river (steep hill to get to it), then hiked the property. Everything was FREE and no one was even manning the front gate but you could tell this beauty gets a lot of attention because all of the trails were freshly mowed to be about 5ft wide so there was no guessing game as to if you were where you are supposed to be.

I'm giving a 5 star, based on the excitement of the kids I saw coming out; however, I didn't go through the cave myself. For me, it was kind of pricey ($20/adult and $10/child) and only service dogs are allowed, so my pup and I decided to move on to our next stop.
