Beautifully restored building worth a visit to walk around inside it. Check the times they are open because it's not all day long. We just happened to get there right when they opened and caught a 5-10 min narrative from the Rangers. All free.
This bridge was even better than the silk covered bridge. There's a nice place to pull off and walk down to the river. Dogs will love it. You can picnic there too.
Wonderful place. The front lady was very friendly and gave us a tour of the back pottery studio. Also be sure to check out the bathrooms - they are a work of art.
Most of the tent campsites are in a wide open grassy field with no trees. Not the most enticing. But the rv sites are nicer and cozier. Even though we only had a tent, we chose a rv site instead.
