Talked to locals after we left, they said drive up to the farm house at end of road (has a red roof) and the is a gate access to get to this area
You can not get to this down dirt road, privet property with signs saying no trespassing. Waist of time.
It was easy to find. A nice stop would be a great place to have a picnic
Older hotel, moderately clean. People were very helpful and nice.

This is now open and you can walk up to it. A nice stop and walk up a path to stretch your legs.

After the line for tickets I was glad to find it was well worth it. It was a wonderful tour! Lot of information. The guide was funny and knowledgeable. My children loved it.
Buy your tixs ahead of time the line was very long for the museum and that is where you have to buy them.
