This hotel leaves a lot to be desired, but it was hardly noticed by us. The awe inspiring beauty of the surroundings by far eclipse the dated, worn, and even dirty accommodations. Come here for the bridge and caverns and use the room only to sleep and shower. I can recommend the onsite tavern where the service and food were surprisingly remarkable.
Great hotel - clean, comfortable, and convenient. Free breakfast, good sized pool for kids, and about 50 ft from the Broadway on the Beach fun.
I wish I could leave zero stars for this "hotel". This establishment is closer to a hostel than anything else. The employees were rude at best, that is, when they weren't blatantly ignoring you or outside smoking. Our room smelled like hot mildew. When I asked for a dehumidifier, I was told to "just turn on the AC". Trust me when I say 3 hours on 60 degrees F did nothing to help. My family and I had to stay here only one night due to our very late arrival to Myrtle Beach. We made other arrangements for the following night and the remainder of our vacation greatly increasing the expense of what should have been a modest vacation to a beach just-struggling-to-be-kitsch.
