We had a great visit! We parked at the Broadmoor Hotel and took an 8 min complimentary shuttle to the falls (this is the only way to get there). Once we got there, it was $14 for adults and $8 for kids to get into the park. We walked a little less than a mile on an easy paved road, but it was a constant incline. You could also pay $1 to ride the tram. It was a beautiful easy hike. Even just going to the base is awesome, but we climbed the scenic overlook first, which was about 160 steps. There also seemed to be an elevator. The stairs up the actual falls were about 240 steps and once you got to the top there was another 1 mile loop around the scenic overlook. Definitely very pretty and a fun active day. Those steps are no joke in this altitude!

It's a really pretty drive through the mountains to get to the trailhead. Once it the trail head it's just a 5 minute hike up a short path to get to the waterfall. Pretty and nice to do if it's along the way but I wouldn't make a special trip. It was actually closed when I went due to risk of falling rocks but I sneaked in anyway. I think it might be a seasonal Claire but the railings did look like they needed work.
