Approximately a week prior to September 15th, I payed $125.00 non refundable deposit to hold a spot to which I was going to reside there while working in Beaumont. I checked in Sunday Sept. 16 to begin my stay and paid an additional $400.00 for a one month stay. The following Wednesday Tropical Storm Imelda hit Beaumont. Thursday morning at 1am I had to evacuate the campground or lose my truck and camper to the flood. My camper took extensive damage from the bad weather and I had to get rid of it. Here is the deligma, I paid 400 dollars to stay a month and a natural disaster forced me out. Now End of the Road staff is telling me no refund but, they will credit me to stay in a cabin. I have no plans on going back there so I'm out 400 dollars. There was no paperwork stating a non refundable rent other than the non refundable deposit. Is this fair?
