We stayed for two nights, September 9,&10, 2023, and found the park to be about half full. Very nice park, quiet with spacious spots. Bathhouse seems fairly new and was clean and maintained. Laundry facilities were available. There was a camp host on-site and the evenings entertainment was watching tens of bats pour out of an on-site bat house. We enjoyed the cavern tour also…didn’t take any hikes but there were plenty around. We were in loop BH1 site 20.
We stayed for one night, September 11, 2023, and found the park to be nearly empty which was nice. We had a lakefront campsite and was almost as far as you could get away from the office which is probably why the advertised wi-fi was non-existent. Not a big deal as the peace and serenity was refreshing. Didn’t use but did check out the bathroom/shower and could use don’t updating but was clean.
