Very nice hotel well located with excellent dining and shopping in the market place.
Careful with navigation, Google maps directed us a up gravel forest service road. Most of the drive is pretty along the Coos river. The Falls are at the end of the main road, which does become gravel. The falls hikes are very easy, and a nice diversion from Coos Bay. There is a some scrambling to the base of the falls for the adventurous, and a strenuous 1hr hike over the falls, which we avoided due to extreme heat wave. Since the hike was short we decided to skip a stay in Coos bay which seemed rather industrial and drove through to Eugene.
